69-year-old Leslie Peterson of Decorah has pleaded guilty on charges he allegedly installed a camera in the women's shower at the Kendallville campground.

After submitting a written guilty plea, Peterson received a four year prison term--which was suspended.  Peterson will spend the next two years on probation, then will spend the next ten years on parole.  As part of the sentencing, Peterson will be listed on the sex offender registry and will undergo sex offender treatment.

When Winneshiek County sheriff's deputies went to the Kendallville campground on July 3rd to respond to several 9-1-1 calls, Peterson allegedly showed them a receiver that got a video picture from the women's shower.  Peterson then allegedly told the deputies he had had the system in operation since 2007.
