Pretrial conference for Clifton Weston of Decorah has been delayed

Posted: Mon, Aug 2, 2010 4:30 PM

A pretrial conference scheduled for Tuesday for 60-year-old Clifton Weston of Decorah was instead postponed until October 19th.  Weston faces two counts of the manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver oxycodone.  The charges are Class C felonies, each with a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.

The charges against Weston were filed following an investigation by Decorah police into the death February 1st of a 30-year-old Decorah woman.  The State Medical Examiners Office ruled the death of Jessica Moeller was accidental, but police filed charges against Weston May 31st, accusing him of supplying oxycodone to Moeller.
