Traffic accident involving a Decorah man injures one in Wisconsin

A Decorah man was in a traffic accident on Highway 35 in De Soto, Wisconsin on Friday that injured a La Crosse man.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department says 24-year-old Jeffrey Thorson of Decorah struck a truck driven by 31-year-old Raymond Smith of La Crosse when Thorson turned left into a gas station.

Smith and two passengers in his car were injured in the crash and were taken to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, where Smith was treated and released.  The names of the two passengers were not release.  Thorson was not injured in the crash.  The crash remains under investigation.
