Nordic Fest is over. Is it time for a vacation?

Once upon a time, in a land called "Decorah," its residents waited until after Nordic Fest was over--and then they all left town on vacation.

We get the feeling that may no longer be the case.  After all, school starts August 18th (!!!!) in Decorah, so there's just a short window of opportunity to leave town before then.

And it seems more an more families are taking vacations right after school is done for the year--and before summer activities get into full swing.

So here's our question to you, dear readers--when are you taking a vacation this year?
