First phase of electrical upgrade at NICC Calmar is now complete

A power outage at NICC Calmar lasted for just 30 minutes on Tuesday. Campus officials say the outage was planned and was part of the overall construction project going on at the campus. Alliant Energy and Decorah Electric handling the updating of NICC's electrical circuit. The first phase of the project is now complete.
Most buildings on the NICC campus were back on line in 30 minutes on Tuesday morning.
