Luther College awards a scholarship to a Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School graduate

Luther College junior Rachel Schott has been selected to receive a Barnes Memorial Scholarship.
Schott, the daughter of Kelly Schott of Gladbrook and Kenny and Angie Schott of Gladbrook, is majoring in biology at Luther. She is a 2008 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School.
The Barnes Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of Roy and Thelma Barnes, parents of Luther alumnus Steve Barnes. Funded by almost $75,000 in gifts, the Barnes Memorial Scholarship provides financial aid for Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School students who enroll at Luther.
