Decorah business trying to win "Dream Big" contest

Another Decorah resident is trying to win the "Dream Big, Grow Here" contest sponsored by MyEntreNet and the University of Northern Iowa.
Rachelle Reis Branum is trying for a $1,000 grant to help The Clay Studio at 207 Washington Street, a community pottery studio that will open in September. Its mission will be to provide a creative outlet, entertainment for visitors and residents, and a creative community through clay.
Branum says if she wins the contest she will use the money to buy pottery wheels for use in addition to a slab roller and handbuilding tools.
