Registration has begun for United Way's annual golf fundraiser

Registration has begun for the 8th annual United Way of Winneshiek County Golf Event and Fundraiser, which will be held Monday, August 9th at the Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah.

The four-person best shot event includes 18 holes of golf and lunch for $60.  Lunch alone is $15 per person.

Participants should call Oneota Golf and Country Club at 563-382-4407 to reserve carts. Carts will not be available without a reservation, which should be made by July 30th.

There will be prizes for the top three teams in each flight, prizes for flag events and other prizes as well.  Registration and luncheon will be at 11:45 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. A brief presentation of awards will be held in the lounge area after the event.

Checks should be made payable to United Way of Winneshiek County and sent with the registration form to Keith Christensen, United Way Golf Benefit, 810 Linden Street, Decorah, Iowa 52101.
