Decorah Police say they were called to two traffic accidents on Saturday.

At 9:43 a.m. 66-year-old Joyce Ann Nelson of Decorah slowed down on Montgomery Street to make a left turn into Winneshiek Medical Center.  29-year-old Andrew Neverman of Waukon approached from behind to turn right into the Bruening Rock Products parking lot, but swung too wide to the left while turning and struck Nelson's car.

Neverman was ticketed for making an unsafe turn.  The accident caused $3,100 in damages.

At 10:39 a.m., 22-year-old Ashley Rosendahl of Waukon was northbound on Mechanic Street when 70-year-old Maurice Kerns of Mabel pulled out from Main Street in front of Rosendahl.  The two vehicles collided, causing $2,500 in damages.
