Reader Gerald Harvey e-mails: "If your readers are wondering who is creating the constant crooking in the evenings--they are small tree frogs that are about 2 to 3 inches long.  Their calls become a constant serenade to attract the females. I found this little guy about 11:30 p.m. one night on an asphalt driveway next to Day Spring Lane."
