Magni, the Library's reading dog

Registration has begun for three upcoming sessions in which kids in grades 1-5 can read aloud to a dog.  Magni is a nationally-certified therapy dog.  The Decorah Public Library is holding 20-minute "Tales to Tails" sessions on three Fridays--July 16th, 23rd and 30th.   The 20-minute time slots are being scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

You can pre-register by calling the Decorah Public Library at 382-3717 or by stopping in at the library's front desk. Once time slots have been filled, library staff will start a wait list for August sessions.  Families are welcome to provide suggestions about additional days/ times that they would like to see "Tales to Tails" offered.

For more information or to register, call 563-382-3717 or email ktorresdal@decorah.lib.ia.us.
