NE Iowa Drug Task Force receives state grant

Iowa Governor Chet Culver has announced that the state has received over $5 million in federal funding for crime prevention and drug treatment programs.  The money comes from the federal Byrne Justice Assistance Grant and Residential Substance Abuse Treatment program.

The governor's office says among the groups receiving money will be the Northeast Iowa Drug Task Force, which will get a $14,000 grant.
