60-year-old Clifton Weston of Decorah was arraigned Tuesday on two counts of the manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver oxycodone.  The charges are Class C felonies.  Each carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.

The complaint against Weston accuses him of two incidents of delivering oxycodone--once on September 24th, 2009 and a second time on December 16th, 2009.

The charges against Weston were filed following an investigation by Decorah police into the death February 1st of a 30-year-old Decorah woman.  The State Medical Examiners Office ruled the death of Jessica Moeller was accidental, but police filed charges against Weston May 31st, accusing him of supplying oxycodone to Moeller.

Weston is scheduled to go on trial on the charges on August 18th.  A pretrial conference has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 3rd.  Weston remains free on a $10,000 bond.
