Decorah police release details of arrest

Decorah Police have released details of an incident at the VFW Club on Thursday, June 24th.

Police were called to the VFW shortly before 9:00 p.m. on a report of an unruly person.  Police arrested 32-year-old Jody Shipp of Decorah and charged him with Public Intoxication, Interference with Official Acts, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Simple Assault.  Shipp was taken into custody and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.
