Ask Mr. Answer Person: "Has this been a wetter than usual June?"

Numerous decorahnews.com readers have asked if this June has been wetter than normal:

Mr. Answer Person says: The official figures won't come out from Decorah weather oberserver Richard Bernatz until the end of this week, but it HAS been a wet June in Decorah.  Through Sunday morning Decorah received precipitation on 17 of the 27 days.  The forecast is for mostly clear weather Monday through Wednesday, but even if that happens, Decorah would end with around six inches of rain in June.
