Decorah businesses joining forces for Abby Theisen benefit

A number of Decorah businesses are joining forces to raise money for Abby Theisen, the Decorah teenager who was injured in a car accident in June.

$10 raffle tickets will be sold at the Winneshiek County Fair, Rubaiyat Restaurant, KDEC Radio, Toppling Goliath, The Perfect Edge, Donlon's Pharmacy, Decorah Bank & Trust, Amundson's Clothing and JD's House of Wine & Spirits.

One raffle ticket will be drawn Tuesday night, July 6th, at the Winneshiek County Fair.  The winner will receive a prize package that includes four tickets to see the Barenaked Ladies in concert July 29th in Des Moines; 2 VIP lanyards signed by the band; BNL's new CD, "All in Good Time," one night's lodging at the Holiday Inn of Des Moines; a $25 Casey's gas card; a $50 Jordan Creek Mall gift certificate; a $50 Amundson's gift  certificate; a cooler full of pop; $50 in spending cash; a $50 Cozy Cucina Restaurant gift certificate.

The winner needs not to be present at the Winneshiek County Fair July 6th in order to win.
