DRAC is "re-branding"

The Decorah Regional Arts Council (DRAC) is changing its identity.

The board representing the "Artists Formerly Known as DRAC" has begun the process of "re-branding." The group is looking for a new name—and is turning to the public for help.

A new website, www.artistsformerlyknownasdrac.com, will allow people to enter their ideas for the new arts council's name.  Entries will be accepted until August 15th, at which time the board will select one name as the winner—and will award a prize package to the person who suggested that name.

After the new name is selected a new logo and a website will be created.  The group also has set the ultimate goal of acquiring a physical gallery space for local artists.
 
The official unveiling of the new brand will be at the annual membership meeting scheduled for mid-September.
