The Rockefeller Alternative High School Program at NICC Calmar has announced its Honor Roll students for the second semester of the 2009-2010 school year.

Justin Franzen and Cyrilla Meyer from the Decorah School District earned spots on the Honor Roll, as did Kelli Anders from the South Winneshiek School District. To qualify for the Honor Roll students must earn at least three credits during the current semester and have grade point averages of 3.00-3.49.

NICC has partnered with five northeast Iowa community school districts since January 1995 to provide an alternative high school opportunity for
students. The program serves the Decorah, North Fayette, South Winneshiek, Turkey Valley and Valley school districts.

The Rockefeller Alternative High School program provides an opportunity for students to complete their resident high school graduation requirements in a nontraditional setting. The program is designed to provide a supportive environment for students unable to succeed in the
traditional setting, and to prepare them for a lifetime of personal and professional growth through learning.
