Decorah firefighters called to house fire

The Decorah Fire Department was called to the home of Brian and Linda Dinger at 3018 Pleasant View Road at 9:30 Monday morning for a possible house fire. 

On arrival of DFD units, fire was coming from the house.  The fire was knocked down and extinguished.  There is no damage estimate yet.  No injuries were reported.  No one was home at the time of the fire.  The cause of the fire is being investigated. 

The Decorah Fire Department was assisted by the Waukon Fire Department, Winnehiek County Sheriff's Department, Winneshiek Medical Center Paramedic Service, REC and the Tri-County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
