The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals has awarded the Winneshiek Medical Center nutrition services department a "No Violations" grade.

Health inspectors from the state recently conducted their annual inspection of the food service department at the hospital.  Safety measures such as cooking and dishwasher temperatures, food labeling, glove and hairnet usage, proper handwashing and cross-contamination prevention measures were assessed.

A "No Violations" grade means that no factors are present that would risk food borne contamination.
