Tony Fox of Decorah has recently completed his third year of service on the University of Iowa's Office of Admission's High School Counselor Advisory Board. The 15-member board was formed in 1991 to advise the UI Office of Admissions on issues related to the college admissions process.

"Tony's work on the board these past three years has been extremely effective in helping us make the admissions process easier for students," says Michael Barron, assistant provost for enrollment services and director of admissions. "We'd like to thank him for his long service and help."

The board meets on the UI campus twice a year in April and September, and each member serves a three-year term.

Fox is retiring from his guidance counselor postion at Decorah High School this year after 38 years of work in education.
