DHS graduated 138 on Sunday

Decorah High School held its commencement exercises on Sunday afternoon, graduating 138 seniors. The following students were honored as the top academic achievers:

- Valedictorians (4.0 GPA): Gunjan Arora, Victoria Dahlen, Nadezhda Fedotovskikh, Kristen Flak, and Joshua Martin
- Salutatorian (next highest GPA): Kayla Burgraff
- 58 seniors were recognized for achieving a 3.5 or higher GPA in eight semesters of high school work

Student speakers included: Rebecca Eastwood and Jacob Knobbe; Kayla Burgraff, and Tyler Rinken.

The Chamber Winds Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, and the Orchestra contributed to the ceremony. Ramona Nelson and Brian Petersburg presented the diplomas on behalf of the Decorah Community School Board.
