Cresco teenager dies from injuries suffered in Sunday accident near Decorah

A Cresco teenager has died from injuries suffered in an accident Sunday on Pole Line Road westof Decorah.

19-year-old Nicholas Hagen was driving east on Pole Line Road around 8:00 p.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle.  Hagen was thrown out of his vehicle after the car entered a ditchand then rolled over several times.

Hagen was taken by ambulance toWinneshiek Medical Center,then airlifted by Medlink to St. Mary's. He has now died from his injuries.
