New officers elected for Friends of the Decorah Public Library

New officers have been elected for The Friends of the Decorah Public Library.  Bob Watson was elected president, Ron Gesme vice-president, Diann Marten treasurer, and Ruth Fjelstad secretary.   Naomi Craft will serve as the liaison between the library board and the "Friends" board.

A spokesperson for The Friends of the Decorah Public Library says the group is always looking for new ways to improve and expand the offerings of the library and would encourage anyone interested in becoming a member to contact the library's main desk at 382-3717 for more information.
