Road paving bid is favorable

The City of Decorah continues to get favorable construction bids.  The latest bid comes for the paving of 28 blocks of street projects in the city this summer.  The low bid of $460,999 from River City Paving was significantly lower than the engineer's estimate.  City officials say the lower bid might mean they will look for additional streets that need paving this summer
