Teens injured in Saturday accident on Clay Hill Road

A Saturday evening accident on Clay Hill road resulted in injuries to local teenagers. About 6:30 p.m. a car driven by Morgan Weis, age 15, lost control and rolled over on Clay Hill Road and landed in a ravine. Passenger Abby Theisen was airlifted to Gunderson Lutheran in LaCrosse. The other passengers, Paige Smutzler and Tayla Begnaud, were transported by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center. Two passengers needed to be extracated from the vehicle by mechanical means.

Weis was cited with failure to maintain control and violation of minor's school license.
