Fundraiser brings in over $2,100 for youth football league

Mike and Dominique Bockman, of T-Bock's and their son, Nick, and Jason and Tera Tweten of Upper Iowa Marine and their son, Cole, present a check to Eric Karius of the Decorah YSF Football Program,

The Decorah YSF Football Program is now $2,125.45 richer, thanks to a recent fundraiser held at T-Bock's in Decorah.

The YSF Football Program provides opportunities for 5th and 6th grade youth to learn the sport of football in an environment that emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship.  The players are divided into multiple teams and play weekend games versus other squads in Northeast Iowa.  The YSF has grown to over 200 football teams in 16 conferences throughout the state.

The YSF includes other sports programs as well and provides opportunities to over 5,000 youth.
