City council authorizes storm sewer repairs

The Decorah City Council has awarded a bid to Skyline Construction to do storm sewer improvements.  The low bid was for $29,751.  Four companies submitted a bid.  The estimate cost for the project had been $47,046.  Most of the storm sewer work will be done in the Painter Street area, where there have been problems with flooding.
