Absentee balloting now being accepted for upcoming primary election

The Winneshiek County Auditor's Office has started accepting absentee balloting for the upcoming primary election. 

Voters are welcome to vote early by casting their absentee ballot in the Auditor's Office during normal office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. 

Voters are reminded that during a Primary Election they must declare a party affiliation to vote. 

The Primary Election will be held June 8th, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Additional election information and sample ballots can be found at: http://www.winneshiekcounty.org/auditor_electioninfo.html or by calling (563) 382-5085.
