Princeton Review lists Luther as one of 286 "greenest" colleges in the U.S.

The Princeton Review's Guide to 286 Green Colleges lists Luther College as one of the greenest colleges in the country.

The publication notes that Luther has developed an in-depth strategic plan for sustainability and that it employs a sustainability officer.  The Princeton Review also makes note of the fact that 10 percent of the school's food budget is spent on local or organic food and that 95 percent of the cleaning products it uses are green-certified.

Luther is the only Iowa Conference school listed by the publication.  The University of Iowa and Iowa State University are the only other Iowa schools listed in the publication.
