Decorah Education Association and School Board will continue mediation

The Decorah Community School Board and the Decorah Education Association met Thursday night in a mediation session in hopes of coming to agreement on the DEA master contract for 2010-11. The two sides had reached agreement on virtually all issues, and were about $30,000 apart on total salary amounts.

But according to Superintendent Mike Haluska the two groups failed to reach a tentative agreement on Thursday night and the process will continue.
