Decorah's bald eagle webcam is now down to one camera.
Raptor Resource Director Bob Anderson says the video feed from the infrared camera at the eagle's nest has been lost. Anderson has now switched to the backup camera. He thinks squirrels chewed the wires on the infrared camera.
Anderson says he hopes the squirrels will leave the remaining webcam alone. He says if the squirrels also chew through the wire on the backup camera, the bald eagle website would have to be shut down for the rest of the season because Raptor Resource officials couldn't get access to the eagle's nest until this fall.
