Winneshiek County, Decorah, filling out census forms

Winneshiek County residents are doing a good job of returning their U.S. Census forms.

The latest figures as of Tuesday show 77 percent of the people believed to be living in Winneshiek County have returned census forms.  In the City of Decorah, that rate is 78 percent.

Other Winneshiek County communities and their return rates are: Jackson Junction, 88 percent; Castalia, 83 percent; Ossian, 79 percent; Spillville, 79 percent; Fort Atkinson, 78 percent; Ridgeway, 70 percent; and Calmar, 66 percent.
