Season has ended for Decorah High School's mock trial teams

The season has ended for Decorah High School's three mock trial teams, which all won one match and lost one match at regionals.  This is the ninth year that Decorah High School has been involved in this program.

Decorah students received many commendations at the regional competition.  Claire Breitenstein, Jacob Knobbe, Clara Bergan, Nathan Lee and Rebecca Eastwood were recognized as being outstanding attorneys.  Ben Bernatz, Allie Canoy, Emma Breitenstein, Erica Bjelland, Shelby Varney, Caroline Krammen, Emily Wilson and Josh Martin received recognition for being outstanding witnesses.

Judges at this year's regional competition in Mason City included Decorah attorneys Marion Beatty and Steve Belay and former Decorah attorney Ray Rinkol.
