Garlic mustard

Volunteers will meet later this month to continue efforts to control garlic mustard in Decorah.  They've already reclaimed large areas formerly infested with the weed, but continue to work on new plots every year.

The group will meet both Saturday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 17th, at the far end of the gravel road along the river at Palisades Park.  Volunteers can come any time from 9:00 a.m. until noon.  Some tools will be provided, but you could bring hand diggers or hoes.  Mary Lewis will be guiding the efforts.  You can contact her at (563) 382-6349.
