Hospital in the red for February, but still ahead of budget for the year

Winneshiek Medical Center reported a $24,498 operating loss in February. But Chief Financial Officer Lynn Luloff is still positive about the hospital's financial condition. She says the has a $932,266 operating gain for the first seven months of the 2010-2011 fiscal year. When non-operating revenues are added, the hospital shows a net gain of over $1.4 million for the year to date.
