The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Chapter at
Northeast Iowa Community College's Calmar campus
has earned a Five Star Chapter designation--the highest honor awarded to chapters in the organization. It is the sixth year in a row the chapter has been so recognized.
Two individual NICC students and a chapter co-
advisor have also received honors. Dawanda Ryder from Waukon has received the Distinguished Chapter President Award and Teresa Dehning of Decorah has been elected Northeast Vice President for the Iowa Region of Phi Theta Kappa. Kathy Howes received a Special Advisor Award for her dedicated leadership of the NICC Calmar chapter.
