The Decorah Public Library says it now has copies of David Rhodes' novel "Driftless" available for check out at the front desk of the library.
The book is an All Iowa Reads selection. The library will host a discussion of the book at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22nd.
Participants are asked to return books prior to the discussion so that others may borrow them as well.
"Driftless" describes the fictional characters of Words, Wisconsin, including the middle-aged couple who take on a scheming milk cooperative; the lifelong invalid, crippled by conflicting emotions about her sister; a cantankerous retiree, haunted by childhood memories after discovering a cougar in his haymow; and the former drifter who forever alters the community.
