Seven individuals were arrested by Decorah Police over the weekend in separate incidents.
Four people were arrested in separate incidents at Roscoe's Bar on College Drive.
Early Saturday morning police officers observed a 17-year-old girl who was drinking in the bar and was in possession of alcohol. She was removed from the bar and taken into custody, then referred to juvenile court services.
The next day, police returned to the bar in the early hours of Sunday and arrested three people. 19-year-old Aaron Ekland, 19-year-old Jillian Teslow and 19-year-old Sonja Thompson--all Luther College students--were charged with public intoxication. Thompson was also charged with interference with official acts.
On Saturday night police were called to 313 Ohio Street around 11:30 on a report of a loud party. Police charged 23-year-old Shane Daniels of Decorah with Keeping a Disorderly House. They also charged 19-year-old Jordan Nady of Nevada, Iowa with public intoxication, possession of alcohol as a minor and interference with official acts; and 19-year-old Jensen Connor of Langley, Washington, with public intoxication and possession of alcohol as a minor.
A Decorah Police officer was on foot patrol on College Drive early Sunday morning when the officer found an intoxicated woman. 20-year-old Jillian Teslow of Decorah was charged with public intoxication and was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.
Finally, a 16-year-old Spring Grove boy was arrested early Saturday morning after police made a traffic stop on Water Street and discovered marijuana. The teenager was referred to juvenile court services on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
