Raptor Resource spokesperson Bob Anderson says a second Decorah bald eagle egg has been laid. Decorah's first bald eagle egg of the season was laid around 6:00 p.m. Thursday. Anderson says if the bald eagles have a third egg, it should be laid on Wednesday.
Because of the popularity of the bald eagle webcam while eggs are being laid, people are now limited to viewing for 15 minutes then are cut off. This helps improve the video feed and allows more people to view. People can log back on at a later time to continue viewing.
Prerecorded videos of the Decorah bald eagles are available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/ries96 and daily archives of still shots are available at http://www.raptorresource.org/decorah_eagles/9.php.
