NICC to offer plumbing code class

Northeast Iowa Community College is offering a Plumbing Code Update class. The class will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4th, in Room 115 at The Dairy Center, located south of the Calmar campus. John Williams of Kirkwood Community College will be the instructor for this class.

Professionals should take advantage of this class so they can stay compliant with the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code. The Iowa Department of Public Health now requires all plumbers and mechanical professionals to be licensed and to take continuing education in their field. This class meets the state board continuing education requirements.
