Braley: Health care debate is broken

Iowa First District Congressman Bruce Braley says he's heard from constituents, relatives and friends whose lives have been negatively affected by the current health care system.

Braley says the current health care system is broken and it's time for change. But that shouldn't mean "just passing" the Senate's health care bill because there are so many things wrong with it.

Braley told Winneshiek County Democrats on Thursday evening "It's time for Democrats to stand up and speak truth to fear." Said Braley, "It's time to move forward and act on the agenda we ran on in 2008".
