Posted: Thu, Feb 18, 2010 5:00 PM

New marketing ideas involving websites, e-mails, Facebook and Twitter will be presented at a seminar March 3rd at the Hotel Winneshiek.

The Eastern Iowa Tourism Association is sponsoring the workshop by Bryan Earnest, President of Business Development for ME&V Advertising and Consulting. Earnest will offer suggestions on how to help businesses "get noticed" and break through the clutter.

Earnest earned his B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University. He founded the advertising agency in 1996. "I have been both the client and a media salesperson in the past and enjoy the synergy that is now created when we bring those two sides together for a successful advertising campaign," says Earnest.

The Winneshiek County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Eastern Iowa Tourism Association will host the meeting, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. on March 3rd. Cost is $25 per person and includes lunch. Pre-registration is required by March 1st. To sign up, call WCCVB Director Brenda Balk at 563-382-2023 or e-mail wctc@alpinecom.net.
