Luther women's basketball program's "Pink Zone" promotion raises over $900 in donations

The Luther women's basketball team has raised over $900 in donations for breast cancer research. The team, in conjunction with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, recently wore pink uniforms and collected contributions from fans during the fourth annual Pink Zone® basketball game against Central College.

The total of $919.30 in donations will be divided between three different charities. The Winneshiek County "Celebration of Life," The Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund and the Young Survival Coalition will all receive contributions from the women's basketball team.
