15 accept NICC early retirement offer

15 faculty and staff members at Northeast Iowa Community College have accepted the school's early retirement incentive program. Kay Boeckenstedt, Ima Cheney, Joyce Dick, Cheryl Donlon, Norma Freidhof, Martha Keune, Lyle Luzum, Barbara Mills, Althea Murphy, Nancy Poshusta, Linda Ressler, Andy Rosulek, Bob Schulze, Ken Vande Berg and John Webb have all decided to retire early in order to qualify for the incentives. The NICC Board of Trustees approved the agreements on Monday. The offer will help NICC make up for a shortfall in state funding this year.
