Luther announces tour of Europe

Luther College has announced plans for a summer study-tour in Europe. 'Music and Conscience' will visit Germany and the Czech Republic June 9th through the 21st. Price of the tour is $1,386 airfare, $2,913 land tour, for a total of $4,299 per person.

The tour begins in Berlin, birthplace of the German Lutheran pastor and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer. The group will then travel to Leipzig to attend the internationally acclaimed Bach Festival. The group will spend two days in Dresden, will visit Flossenbürg Concentration Camp, then will end up in Prague--a city teeming with art and culture.

The tour leaders will be Luther religion professor Jim Martin-Schramm and Luther assistant professor of music Gregory Peterson. Co-leading the tour are Karen Martin-Schramm, assistant to the president, and Ann Sponberg Peterson, director of development, principal gifts.
