Oneota Community Co-op hires new general manager

The Oneota Community Coop has hired Decorah resident David Lester as its new General Manager. Lester begins his position in late March.

Lester has worked for 13 years as Luther College's Cash Manager for four retail food operations. He has also worked with the Luther College Garden project and with bringing more fair trade and locally grown foods to the college.

Co-op Board President Lyle Luzum said, "David brings to the position an excellent management background, coupled with a strong commitment to the values of cooperatives, to the Decorah community, and to local and organic products. We look forward to his leadership."
