Is President Obama coming to Decorah? The answer to that question won't be known for a long time.

This year's Nobel Peace Prize Forum will be held March 5th and 6th at Augsburg College in the Twin Cities. Each year a group of Lutheran colleges in the Midwest join together to host the Forum. Next year Luther College will host the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. Luther President Rick Torgerson has invited the latest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize--U.S. President Barack Obama--to come to campus to give the keynote address.

College officials say they don't expect to receive an answer from the president's staff for almost a year, however. The necessary contacts have been made--but the answer to Luther College's invitation might not come until early in 2011.
