Celebration Iowa is in the running for $50,000 grant

Celebration Iowa is one of about 200 organizations up for voting in the "Refresh Project." The top 10 vote-winners will be awarded a $50,000 grant towards programming expenses. The contest runs through February 28th. The general public can vote once per day on-line at http://www.refresheverything.com/celebrationiowa.

Celebration Iowa, now in its 28th season, showcases the talents of 37 of Iowa's finest musicians and dancers in a touring summer program. The 2010 season will have approximately 32 shows in its summer tour. Audition applications are still being accepted through February 12th at https://www.luther.edu/celebrationiowa/audition/

Celebration Iowa, a project of Luther College, is also funded by the R.J. McElroy Trust, The Fred Maytag Family Foundation, the Winneshiek County Community Foundation, and many other organizations throughout the state.
