The Decorah City Council has agreed to pay for a proposed sustainability study--but only half of it. The city's Community Development/Economic Betterment Committee on Monday night studied a proposal to spend $6,850 on a sustainability--but agreed to pay for only half of it and ask the Winneshiek County Board to pay for the other half.

In other business Monday night, the city council listened to a group of Calmar residents about their plans for a community center in their town.

Also, city officials asked for applications from people who want to serve on the Airport Commission and the Human Rights Commission.
